Coil Grout
Grout is used for coating induction furnace coils. Grout is used for coating induction furnace coils in a tapered fashion to allow the lining to move freely as it is heated and cooled, preventing the lining from sticking, causing metal fining, and eventual lining failure. Grout should be strong enough to remain intact during lining knockout. Please don’t overlook the coil grout on your next reline, ensure it is tapered, and fix any sections or cracks.
